During the 2010-2011 fiscal year, CAS

  • provided 865 children with in-care resources
  • provided protection and counselling services to 2,042 families with over 4,000 children in the community
  • found supportive, loving homes for 79 children or youth
  • completed 29,738 volunteer drives totalling over 2.2 million km
  • achieved permanency plans for 96 children in 76 kinship homes
