The Children's Aid Society of London & Middlesex

CAS believes that all children have the right to thrive in a safe, stable and loving family. Although our core services are 100% government funded, we rely on generous donations from corporations, organizations and individuals to help us provide prevention programs.

Prevention programs reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect and the need for CAS care. They have helped many children lead happier, more normal lives and enjoy the things that many of us take for granted, from post-secondary education and summer camp to a toy under the tree at Christmas.

CAS is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services to provide services mandated by the Child and Family Services Act including:

• Investigating allegations that a child might be in need of protection
• Protecting children

How You Can Help

Donate to CAS Prevention Programs

In 2008-2009, your donations funded:

• Bursary Program – Awarded 24 bursaries to youth in care to support their post-secondary education
• Project Camp – Sent 235 children to camp by providing free or subsidized camping opportunities
• Holiday Giving Campaign – Shared the joy of the season by distributing hundreds of toys, clothes, gift cards and food baskets to children and families in the community
• Youth Moving to Independence
