Tune into a commitment-free, information session on foster parenting in London & Middlesex! You will hear from our Recruitment Worker regarding agency policies, PRIDE training, home study, and the current needs of children in care. You will also have the chance to hear from current foster parents and ask any questions!
You will be emailed a Zoom link within one business day of your free ticket order to tune in.
Currently, there are approximately 457 children in the care of the Children's Aid Society of London & Middlesex, and only 150 foster homes. It is important to highlight that as with agencies across Ontario, there is an over-representation of transgender & non-binary youth, Black, and Indigenous children in care who deserve caregivers who can reflect their unique identities. We believe that all children belong in supportive family-based care within their communities in order to thrive. We look forward to connecting!
